At Snacks with Santa one of our patients, Ava, took a special liking to the Kazim Pirates. So much so she has become an honorary Mystic Pirate of Kazim!

This meant so much to her she even wrote it in her calendar.

As a special treat she recently received a special tour of the pirate ship, a shirt, and pirate gear courtesy of the Pirate Unit and their Director.

Way to go Mystic Pirates and to our newest honorary Pirate Miss Ava 🏴‍☠️

Our buddy and patient Jaxson I think has decided to join the pirates when he becomes a Shriner! He loved the parade so much we call him CAPTAIN Jaxson!

Many thanks to the Lunch Bunch Crew for another fantastic meal and to Illustrious Wes and Lady Debbie for all our lunch bunches this year.

The Ma’at ladies knocked out of the park today with their event. We loved incorporating our patients and shrine member kids and grandkids into one fun event.

Today we are featuring our Hillbilly Unit and Grayson-Carroll Shrine Club.

This week these hard working nobles donated a check for $17,000 to @shrinersgreenville as well as a u-haul full of toys for patients valued at over $12,000! That is almost $29,000 combined being given to OUR mission, our kids!

The nobles want to thank all the local businesses that helped them with this task as well as the many unit and club members who worked hard fundraising.

This is year two of the Emily fund. The brainchild of Miss Emily, a 9 year old daughter of a Noble, who didn’t want any Shriner patient to be without a toy!

December’s Lunch Bunch is changing from Friday,

December’s Lunch Bunch is changing from Friday, December 16 to Sunday, December 11.

We are partnering with the Ma’at ladies who are having their annual Shriner patient Christmas party on Sunday the 11th and we think it would be a great time to combine the events. It gives our Nobles and families a chance to come out and enjoy the Christmas spirit with some of our patients.

All nobles and ladies are invited along with your children and grandchildren and maybe even great grandchildren! I understand that there might be a fat guy in a red suit making a visit for all of the children!

Please make your plans to attend on this coming Sunday the 11th. Doors open at 1. We plan to eat at 2 PM, please let the office know a headcount of adults and children by Thursday at 4pm.

There is no charge for this event, just come and enjoy the Christmas season with Kazim.

In today’s Rocky Mount Christmas parade Kazim wa

In today’s Rocky Mount Christmas parade Kazim was joined by superstar Shrine patient Jaxson and his mother, Amanda.

Jaxson dressed up as a pirate for Halloween so what better unit to parade with, the Kazim Pirates!

The unit made sure he had a special chair to sit in on the front of the ship to lead the way.

We think everyone in Franklin County knows Jaxson and he is certainly a celebrity.

We love our patients and thank you to the Smiths for allowing our buddy to parade with us!

It’s been a busy few weeks at Kazim! We had our circus, ceremonial, our Sportsman’s Raffle is tomorrow, and this past week work started on our building renovations!
